I am a person who wants to expend her artistic talent from being a seamstress, quilter, and DIYer into a pastel artist. I grew up in a small farming community, Cedarburg, WI, which developed into an enriched quaint artist haven. I graduated from the University of Minnesota and became a county social worker and eventually a medical social worker. I developed into a person who worked with severe needs children for Air Academy School District. I always loved art and would draw cartoon characters to keep the kids interest. I started taking pastel classes when I retired in 2005. I became more serious about my pastel art when I joined the Pikes Peak Pastel Society.
